TÜBİTAK 1832 Green Transformation in Industry Call Announced

The 2026-1 call under the Türkiye Green Transformation Programme, coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and supported by the World Bank, is now open for applications.

This new call, which supports sustainable transformation in industry, aims to move R&D projects more quickly towards commercialisation. Projects are expected to carry out technology validation activities covering the development of new prototypes for technologies that have passed the conceptual stage, the further development or improvement of existing R&D prototypes, and prototype validation/testing work.

Application Dates:
01 April 2026 – 09 June 2026

Under the call:
The objectives are to contribute to green transformation, reduce electricity and water consumption per unit of production, lower the volume of non-recyclable waste and commercialise innovative green technologies.

Maximum Project Budgets:

• Micro/Small SME: TRY 14,000,000

• Medium-sized SME: TRY 22,500,000

• Large-scale enterprise: TRY 48,000,000

Project Duration:

24 months at most.

Type of Support:

Interest-free repayable support is provided for up to 50% of the project budget; where the project is successfully completed, part of the repayable support may be converted into a grant. 

Eligible Budget Items:

• Personnel costs

• Travel costs

• Consultancy costs

• Service procurement costs

• Costs of tools, equipment, software and publications

• Materials and consumables costs

Key change 1: In previous application periods, organisations could benefit from support under the Green Transformation Support Programme no more than twice. This restriction has been removed for the new period, and organisations will be able to benefit from support within the upper limits set under the Green Transformation Programme.

Key change 2: In previous application periods, projects were expected to start at TRL 5 at the earliest, whereas in the new period it has become possible to start projects at TRL 3 at the earliest.
